Jim Bottiger, CAD Specialist / GIS Technician 
Since joining the GIS department in mid-2000, Mr. Bottiger has acquired a significant amount of experience with wetland mitigation design.
His responsibilities include preparing permit design drawings for all government agencies (ACOE, Water Management Districts and Hillsborough County Environmental Protection Commission). The design drawings
he has prepared include wetland creation, impact, mitigation and restoration designs. Additionally, Mr. Bottiger is responsible for creation of surface
terrain models, producing contour maps as well as capturing data from digitizing tablets into AutoCad Map 3D. His most recent experience includes the production
of due diligence maps. One of Mr. Bottiger's most significant contributions to the GIS department is in the area of data conversion: he is directly
responsible for converting all forms of CAD data into GIS formats including engineering, civil and architectural data.
