Lauren Shapiro, Senior Geospatial Manager 

Ms. Shapiro is a Certified Geographic Information Systems Professional (GISP) with over 11 years of geographic information systems (GIS) experience. She is proficient with the ESRI product line, including Workstation Arc/INFO, Arcview, ArcIMS, and ArcSDE. Her experience also includes spatial analysis, thematic mapping, global positioning system (GPS) to GIS conversion, address matching, database design and implementation, GIS quality assurance, quality control, and many years of project management Ms. Shapiro is also skilled in many aspects of remote sensing and the use of ERDAS-Imagine to extract information from raster data. She has contributed new and innovative ideas in using geospatial techniques to assist in solving spatial problems for many types of projects, including environmental permitting projects ranging in size from a few to thousands of acres, water management/quality plans, site selection/feasibility studies, transportation planning, waste management, land planning, risk assessment, and land development.
